Another vote for the Patek
The flames actually look like flames, at least from head on! Side profile is a bit less flattering. Looks like they had to add extra metal to the tip of the flame for sturdiness.

I think you might be right and I agree that the side profile is less flattering.
I find the 2413 very impressive, but a little less realistic "flames" would have been ok for me. Best, Emmanuel
