My travel companions over the holidays
Whenever I travel more than two weeks, I always take two watches, and these are the ones that made the cut for the festive season. Which I am spending in the UK (Somerset) and France (Lorraine). I feel I have all bases covered, between a rugged every day watch for the country, and a really smart one for evening parties. They would be very strong contenders for a two watches collection (sorry, Switzerland).
And my now traditional “Somerset wrist shot”.

I may try that. I actually don’t wear my ALS in the warmer months due to the uncomfortable feeling of the heat and humidity. 😢 This is a solid solution. Although yours in white metal is more versatile and can be dressed down easier than mine in red metal....

I think it would do the trick nicely.
I suspect this dark blue color would marry red gold pretty well. The only issue would be to find a 20mm red gold plated buckle to match it. Unless you don’t mind the buckle not matching the case.

Sure, your two German travel watches are not Swiss made. When i would travel i take a Swiss watch and a Japanese watch. It is a coincidenze both are GMT’s and my only GMT’s. Perfect in crowded cities. As i take a third watch for travel, think about dinner...
I am not surprised they match well.
They are to be found on the Nomos Club line, which has cases similar in design to that of the 1815. So when I was browsing Nomos online catalogue, I went: “Hang on, those fabric straps would loog good on my Lange too”.
