With regards to wrist-size, I would not be overly concerned. I too have a slender wrist (6.5"), but I find the ~37mm case to be a perfect size. I for one am glad that Seiko is choosing to remain true to its historical roots by continuing to make their classically-inspired watches in smaller sizes.
