Either color fine. In the PP I’m not overly into the blacked out indices. For the chopard make the subdial only a seconds, no date. The PF I wouldn’t change anything. Hence the winner. Either dial color as well. Another mention is the zenith- beautiful pl...

Personally, I like the Parmigiani, then the Patek, and the Chopard as per your question. If I could make one change, I would go with the salmon dial Chopard over this one - but I realize you're trying to keep to a platinum theme and the salmon dial Chopar...

I don't see the chopard as dressy. I think the pf is more visually interesting than the pp.

Thank you. I’ve had the chance to try on the PP and the LUC, but not the PF, unfortunately. Hopefully I’ll be able to see one in real life someday. However, I think I prefer older variants of each of these watches: PP 3718A, Quattro Mark I and 1st gen Tor... 

As much as I love the Parmigiani the Chopard is my favourite and I'm not even fond of the Patek. Marc

I might feel differently if I had - Chopard, Patek and not a big fan of this Parmigiani. In regard to the first two, for me, the Patek is very nice, but the Chopard wins by a pretty fair distance.

with the Parmigiani Toric in platinum. I have the same as you and adore every little thing about it. Pure class. I am smitten with the gold dials as you are.

Parmigiani and Parmigiani. Did I say Parmigiani?

in Geneva when it was released. I was so puzzled. It’s very plain and never spoke to me. That being said it’s a lovely watch.

The Chopard without the subdial would look better for me..

...the dark hands against that dial color was genius. The movement just does not get me very exited though...I can't tell you why, but it just doesn't. Even though not quite as traditional, I think I might prefer a micro-rotor automatic. Heresy, I know : ...

Having seen both the Chopard and Patek at W&W25 (but not the PF) I would be hard-pressed to pick between the 2 P’s, Patek and Parmigiani. Both are exceptional pieces with the Patek a bit more classical and the Parmigiani a bit more daring. I was inclined ...

Understated elegence. Not so sure about the dial on the Chopard and the fluted bezel on Parmigiani.

... Is very difficult to compete with. That time-only Patek is fantastic. The dial work on that Chopard is practically unparalleled. But the greenish/greyish dial on that Parmigani is sublime.
