Before it was handed over to me , it has been submerged in 7ft deep swimming pool and fell off the wrist while the jump was made accidentally.. Now the dial is spoilt and even the original strap ripped from the lugs . Next stop would be the boutique where...  

Or are willing to sell it, although I don't know if its secondary market value would be equal to what HW would charge to fix it. It's important not to let an expense be imposed on you just because someone gave you a present. If the same expenditure would ... 

I would definitely look into how much it would cost to fix from HW. If the cost doesn’t make sense, from a value perspective then I would consider third party customization to make it work and look unique. Good luck
