Harry Winston

Probably not. Here's possibly why...

Harry Winston has a focus on the extreme, the rare, and the "N"th degree.

Going in house, at this point in time is ironically going to make the brand another "me too". This may not have been the case in 2001.

Remaining "an explorer" and "a discoverer" of rare and unique masterpieces, of high watchmakers, and presenting them is going to be the strenght of Harry Winston, and to consolidate that, their reputation for making the finest jewelry, implies that the encasing and assembly of these fine movements into exqusite Harry Winston cases of fine metals, especially platinum, will continue to increase the brand's identity.

If one looks at Opus 1 and Opus 5 for example, these are among the most well known brands today. FP Journe and URWERK. The Winston pieces are all ( except twice) almost never resold again. They have often appeared in the WTB lists of collectors in the Far East.

The Excenter and Z series would be likely candidates for any "in house", but these are rare and very small quantities. It may happen for these.

My personal views.
