I bought this piece 4-5 years ago,it was a very emotionally moment for me when I saw this piece on one of my trips abroad.
My dad who passed away in 2000 used to wear the Omega Geneve which he bought in the mid to late 70's
I grew up seeing him proudly wear this watch of his ........



So when I saw the HW with the broad strap ,the blue and white dial ,the brushed steel look of WG ,the large presence of the watch on the wrist , I had to get it!l
ogic of price and value perception took a back seat😄

I still have Dads watches and wear them occasionally posted above is the picture of his watch with the unchanged original dial the hands had to be replaced by Omega but I decided to keep the dial as you can see even though the radium makers have reacted with the dial ......
