Weighing In
Hello Guys,
I happen to be really attracted to this watch design for both aesthetic and practical reasons. The bold yet clean lines immediately draw my eye, and while much of the dial remains unused for other functions, the face canvas paints a beautiful picture. Since watches are a comibnation of both art and function (at least in my book), this watch works for me.
In addition, I'd like to thank Art for his extremely coherent explanation of the design philosophy behind the separation and offset of time and date. I intuitively felt the ease of gathering information from this dial in its legibility and layout, but Art put words to my understanding.

I have to be honest and say that the asthetics of
the dial leave me underwhelmed. I cannot understand building a watch that wastes so much space telling you nothing. It makes the small section devoted to telling time leave me asking why the watch wasn't that small to begin with. It is as silly as the new...
