OK
The recent bracelet post got me thinking....
I am picking up a model in the Sports Evo line.
I already know which and am raising the funds.
I am having a serious debate though.
I have 6.8 in wrists and know some deployment clasps can
be uncomfortable on smaller wrists but that being said I am in
love with the Trieste strap.
I also LOVE the technology behind the bracelet and the micro adjust!
It is even better than the DSSD.
I tend to wear watches that allow for easy strap changes but these don't look
quick and easy or practical to change every few days.
The bracelet is going to be more comfortable on my wrist I know that BUT
the bracelet will show MUCH more wear due to the polishing on the links
(I wear my watches, not worship them like some)
and dresses the watch up a bit more than I want for everyday wear
(to me the bracelet would be perfect for travel and dressing up the watch)
Do I order it with the bracelet and also order a Trieste? (it seems more expensive to order the bracelet
after you have the watch). Do I order the bracelet and find a nice aftermarket strap with a buckle for daily wear?
Or do I forget the bracelet since I wont wear it enough and I fear marking it up quite a bit with daily wear??
To be honest I have tried on the deployment on the Trieste and did not find it uncomfortable BUT
1) As I have small wrists the AD didn't want to put it tight enough for me to really wear
2) I wore it about 10 minutes in the store thats it
3) I do wear my watches a bit loose (not sloppy)
4) My wrist is more flat on top and bottom than a barrel
Thanks for your time and opinions!!!!
It is a TOUGH call!!!!
