Only you can tell if the long-term effects of wear should sway . . .
. . . you from away from a bracelet, Yogi - that's a purely personal call. My personal preference is for straps equipped with deployants; straps, because I find them to be more comfortable and a pleasure to replace when necessary, and deployants to minimize the crimp a buckle will inflict on a strap. The Sport Evo is probably the prime candidate in G O's line to merit consideration for a bracelet by dint of design, and while it will rapidly accumulate scratches, they can almost always be removed when the watch is sent in for service, so that you can start the cycle all over again. Based on your comments, my guess is that you really want a bracelet, so my suggestion would be to acquire the Sport Evo so equipped and use your negotiating leverage to acquire a Trieste strap and deployant concurrently, because you'll only have the leverage once ;-). That way, your bases will be covered and you'll limit your total outlay as much as possible . . . cordially, Art

I went with the SS Bracelet and I love it. Ideally I would love to have both but buying either after the fact is insanely expensive. Not sure how well the strap will hold up to water exposure over time, that's why I went with the SS.

Hi JYogi, as I mentioned in an earlier post , I had my reasons to change from the Treste strap to he bracelet later on. Of course and as always you do not need to share them. But I am still captured by the overall look of the Sport Evo an the Trieste stra...

Thanks I think I need to go with the Trieste, also as I have smaller wrists I will go with the buckle as clasps do not center well quite often with straps when worn on smaller wrists. Trying them on again isn't really an option... My local AD is just some...
Granted, gentlemen . . .

. . . there are no 'hard and fast' rules when it comes to matters like this. My personal experience with G O's is that their deployants are centered with short straps, and closely match the contours of my left wrist. The nub of Yogi's problem is in findin...
