I think it comes down to whether you normally dress up . . .
. . . or down. I'm always casual, so my preference would be for black; also, black works better on smaller wrists. On the plus side of the ledger for the silvery white dial is it's greater flexibility with regards to straps - if you like changing the appearance of your watch with straps, then white has far more options . . . cordially, Art
