no written rules existing, but a predominant part (which means at least more than 50%) of the value of the movement has to create in Glashütte before a manufacture can use the term "Glashütte i/SA". It does not only refer to the "in Saxony".
These "Glashütte rules" are commonly used for more than 100 years.
