Glashütte Original

Thomas, no written rules existing, but a predominant part (which means at least more than 50%) of the value of the movement has to create in Glashütte before a manufacture can use the term "Glashütte i/SA". It does not only refer to the "in Saxony". These... 

The term "Glashütte" or "Glashütte in Sachsen" as a geographic name cannot be legally protected as a trademark or brand (while it is of course possible to protect it as part of a brand, like "Glashütte Original"). It is therefore possible for any company ...
