My guess is the requirement . . .
. . . for a centrally located date aperture drove the decision to implement the cal 39, which already has a developed requisite module. Why invest in tooling for a new version of the cal 100 when the cal 39 is available? . . .

Yet... at the same time... like many GO models, it is blindingly shiny... I wish the level of polish was a few steps back.... what is the school that says 'shiny til blindness is Right?'' Answer me thus! with that said.... this is a stunning classic timep...
