Difficult call to make . . .
. . . between these two as they're really quite different from one another. The PanoInverse is the one model that observers who aren't normally attuned to G O's gestalt find compelling, and paradoxically, conspicuous for long-term followers. Glashütte's usually reserved aesthetic is notably absent with the PI; you'll have to be comfortable with its bold character to make it a successful acquisition over the long term.
The PanoMatic Lunar, though, as I've said before . . .

. . . is as close to a design icon as G O gets. There's a preternatural harmony between the overlapping chapter rings and the calendar and moon phase indicators . . . a watch with effortless character.
My sense is that the PML would make the best entry into the world of G O for many collectors. It's hard to beat G O's classic for long term ownership satisfaction.
