been there

generally, it's hopeless. I have almost never lost interest in a watch and gained it back again except once that I can remember.

My Sub LV, which has become my all time favorite 'everyday' watch. So you never know, on the other hand.

The way I discovered my love for the LV was, I took it on vacation, and wore it everyday, having 'no choice'

I started to really appreciate it, and then the journey/travel became embedded in the ownership of the watch--it had a special memory in it.

Since that trip, which was a three week journey, I have never seriously wanted to get rid of it again. (all watches are occasionally on the imaginary chopping block now and then.)

So... maybe take it hostage on a trip.
