No need to apologize for the photos at all, the beauty of watch shines through clearly.
You have one of the great modern bicompax chronographs. The dial and case are so clean, clear, and unfussy. And -- stroke of genius -- GO left off any awkwardly placed date window!
The brown and the black straps are both attractive, the brown perhaps more casual. I think this watch, with its neutral coloring, could be a showcase for many interesting straps. Think: double-thickness black shell cordovan with contrast white stitching, or a lightly polished stingray, or a honey ostrich, and you can change the impression dramatically.
