this is one of the best designed QPs ever. best balance between "analog and digital", of hands and windows displaying "data". simply a classic. i am saving for one actually. congrats again

I'm sure you will enjoy that one! Just one quick question - is the moon silver or gold in color? The press photos show a silver moon, but every real photo I've seen shows a gold one. Thanks, Bill

The moon & stars on mine are gold. While the press photo shows silver, I am not sure that it ever came that way, given the few examples I have seen. For me, I am fine with the gold. They are very subtle and add just a bit of color to the moonphase.

With better, more natural lighting they are silver. They do, however, appear gold at times which I assume is a combination of their reflective surfaces and type of lighting. So, I guess it was only the earlier examples that had the gold, but who knows?

I too think that Perpetual Calendars and Pilot watches usually don't go well together - but for me the GO Navigator Perpetual is the exception...well done cheers and enjoy that beauty Rupert

Beautiful time-piece. I am curious as to whether or not you evaluated the IWC GST Perpetual during your research? I think it has the appearance of a sporty-perpetual as well. Somewhat unique like the GO Perpetual Nav. I am interested in thoughts form the ... 

From a design perspective, I prefer GO's aperture based perpetual. It provides a cleaner which I find appealing.

I have owned two IWC GST Perpetual's, one in stainless with the rhodium dial and one in titanium with the black dial. It is truly an amazing watch for the money. I sold the titanium version to raise funds for another watch, but have had the stainless vers...

The pilot style integrates perfectly with this perpetual for maximum legibility. As an owner of an earlier version I think you made a wise choice which you will enjoy for years. tempusfugit
