Like your first post, I found virtually no information about this watch on the worldwide inter web. Your posts were very helpful. I think that’s why I bought the watch. It appeared unique, produced in a very small batch, and thus very special. Mine was advertised as gold case. it’s fascinating to me the architecture of my two GPs when placed side-by-side. Both 44 mm, with the Chrono hawk wearing like a 47 and the Laureato wearing like a 42. What an absolutely beautiful piece. It just goes to show you impulse can steer you in as good a direction as tons of research.

This is a very rare version with the perforated dial. I have a feeling that only in the metal it gives the appreciation it deserves. The Chrono Hawk is unfortunately too large for my wrist. CC
yes, I cannot deny it is rather a larger watch but it fits nicely on a 7.5 inch wrist!
do you see the stormtrooper-resemblance...or is it just me? haha!
Not from the crown view, but more the lugs view above. Cracking watch the Chrono Hawks, but like most GPs, hugely under-appreciated and rarely considered – especially at the price they can be had for.
Like the Vacheron Constantin Overseas, you really ought to get the bracelet for it.
Better late than never. Always really interesting to know the true feeling of watch owner.
Regarding this GP, independently of its size, I would have preferred a solid case back with a nice engraving. Here, the movement seems lost which is a little drawback for me. Anyway, enjoy and wear it in good health. Best wishes Alkiro
I agree with you on the caseback. Also, if the date were dropped, it would be better.
Of course, this point us PuristS can make about many watches. This case reminds me quite a bit of Audemars Piguet's original Concept watch. Looks very good.

The original Bond had the freedom to choose....
And he wore GP! Thank you for putting this review together! Always great to read owners view of a watch. Initial thoughts are always good, but written during the "honeymoon" phase... One year later, the real feelings will show! Best Blomman
