I would say the Girard-Perregaux Laureato is the better prospect if you plan to use and even sell the watch. The bang for your buck is better. There are more Laureato appreciators than for the Polo. Regards, MTF

If the strap can be rubber, then have you considered the Polo 45 (non-chronograph) in Titanium or the Polo 43 in WG, instead? A plainer dial, with lumed markers in the case of the 45, but still a lovely watch nonetheless.
The new Polo looks a bit too close to a Nautilus, IMO, but there has been a fair amount of debate about this topic already. At any rate, i am not convinced. The GP however is a clear winner. best Stefan
