Yes, the overall weight is a tad lighter than my green dial Laureato. I found the sound is as smooth, light and crisp as my other timepieces with gold rotor. The sound closest to this skeleton that I can compare with is the JLC 772 caliber on my world timer. No knocking noise noticed at all.
Marc, give it a second try on this classic in my opinion. The generous case size of 42mm might put some off but its daring design says it all that Laureato skeleton is not an ordinary timepiece.
