Given the lack of attention GP's WWTC's have gotten the last few years in forums I thought everyone was way past these incredibly handsome, handy and grossly undervalued watches!
I'll admit I have sold both WWTCs I had but that was mainly due to size (the last edition BMW ORACLE in titanium and the all white dial FTC, both chronos). I was so into these models but the size was about 2-3mm too big in my opinion and I always grow bored with big watches.
Now I've had a dark dial WWTC power reserve on my radar for a while and think I'll have to make a move soon. I love both the small seconds and the PR, AND I think the size is almost perfect but slightly prefer the asymmetry of the PR to the other. The 1966 is also beautiful but it lacks a bit of flair, in my opinion. Case is too plain and dial just a touch too clean for me to get excited. I totally agree with other comments here that other dial colours could do the trick.
Thanks again for the write-up! In a watch world increasingly obsessed with PP Nautilus, Rolex sports watches and anything else that can be flipped over retail, it's threads like this that makes me love this forum!
Best,
