the strap is perhaps a little dark ( although the light background image has accentuated this) I have tried lighter tan and camel toned straps which have in my opinion rather flattened out the whole effect which I'm not sure I like.
I've also tried various vintage rubber tropic straps but I find that they don't seem to work as well( IMO) They work better on more rugged/ utilitarian styled diver.
Plus there almost impossible to find in interesting shades ( I've even attempted to dye old white tropics to get the right shade of brown!) they also are very hard to 'age' in any way .
Steel or leather seems to best. I think the right shade of grey might be interesting work to give the lume a 'pop' .
