In addition to the color, the dial seems to have an almost enamel like sheen to it. Yes, watches are meant to be worn - carefully! Little pieces of art we wear on the wrist. Patek's "you merely look after it for the next generation" is true for all watche... 

Almost a fumé dial with shades. I agree with you. I keep my Casio G-shock for sports and such. The watches are treated well. Not babied. They are worn. But they are worn with respect. 🤝
