Richeville 8445
Hi CC. I purchased one of these in Singapore in 1967 whilst in the RAF. it's had a hard life, having smashed the glass and bent the sweep hand working in a Vulcan bomb bay. However have just sent it back to the GP Clinic and now back on my wrist, keeping good time. Should really value it for insurance, any idea? Face a bit blemished and non original crown fitted by clinic.

those are actually not that hard to find. You only need to be faster than Blomman, which is difficult enough

Nice, vintage piece. After spending time at GP's manufacture, I have a lot of respect for the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into their work. I'd love to see inside of your GP. If they ever crack the case open, be sure to take pics!

thanks for the kind words. Will take some movement shots when I get a chance. This one actually has no Tritium / no lume. The Richevilles, as far as I know where all without lume. CC
Mine have no lume either....
But the "T" to the right of "SWISS" indicates that it should have. On the other hand - a watch with no lume in the hands, why would you have it on the dial? Another mystery to solve...! Best Blomman
I think we have seen the "T" not being used consistently
quite often there are no lume dials marked SWISS T or even T SWISS T, indeed a mystery.
