This is a great review. Nothing beats the experience of a watch that goes with you through the thick and thin, especially when you do not have time or space to give it the extra TLC that we tend to give our watches. Only then, it is put through the paces. I'm glad that the emergencies have been settled and all is well.
Normally, white gold isn't something I would be moved to check out, but after reading this, I will go to the AD and give this a look and try.

my choice would be the automatic chronograph, no date in white gold and white dial. While the blue dial is very very nice, I think the white dial will keep its charme more long-term. Best, CC
The smaller one, since the one with the date has a bigger case, if I remember correctly.
