My first Girard Perregaux

I have waited some days to share this incredible timepiece by Girard Perregaux.  I had been on the prowl for a new blue dial watch for months.  I came close to a few others, but wanted something that was "just right".  I have worked with an amazing authorized dealer out of NJ, The Timepiece Collection, since they started in 2001.  I knew they sold GP, so I inquired about this Earth to Sky Laureato skeleton edition.  They sent it to me without even collecting a payment.  Well, I knew this watch was a keeper as soon as I cracked the box lid.

The shade of blue is amazing.  Exactly what I was looking for.

I have never owned a full ceramic watch before.  After some good wrist time, I can state it is the most comfortable bracelet watch I have ever worn.

The ceramic finishing features both brushed and polished areas.  I cannot find an objection to either, and the combination is really appealing.

Beautiful movement openworking and rotor.

I guess it is technically my 2nd GP, but the first one I will wear.

I can say this brand has my full attention, and I already look forward to my next one.

GP is a very solid but underrated watch and they seem to have the best service where their ADs are concerned. I’m sure you’ll grow to love this one even more than you already do. Richard

Well done Michael!
