My condolences to Dr. Macaluso's family, friends
and everyone whose life he enriched. It is a sad, sad day.
I will never forget the hospitality and graciousness he showed the group my wife and I joined when we toured the manufacture with the PuristS--a day we will always thank him for showing us the magic of Girard Perregaux. I treasure my GP watches and the "architect of time"
that made them possible--thank you Dr. Luigi Macaluso. May you rest in peace.

a big loss to the world of high horology. i have always liked GP and respected them for keeping true to their value of using in house movements and delivering great value for money, esp compared to the marketing and pricing strategies of their counterpart...
