is actually any larger than on the Full Calendar gold models, but with circular date cut-out and the larger numbers make it appear bigger. And yes, this one is very good value.

The date circling the moon is a nice touch.

even without the weekday / month indicators still very attractive.

May be just two questioning: 1/ Its case size (40mm). May be 38mm or 39mm would have been better and 2/ The second hand. As I'm not a big fan of central second hand vs sub second dial, I would have preferred just a two hands. Nothing really significant of... 

I guess it will come down to personal taste. I find 40mm just right for this watch and I would feel strange if the seconds hand would be absent

the absence of Day and Month also makes it easier to set for people like us with many watches. If there would be one thing I could change, then I could do without the "1791".
