I'll dispute "but quartz" here...

We all know that nowadays quartz movements and watches are almost always synonym for el-cheapo watches, if you don't go over super high precision multi quartz/thermo compensated models.
But back in the days when this was in the shop windows quartz was seen as cutting edge technology and swiss manufacturers were striving to find a way not to die.
This, but also the OysterQuartz for example, are great examples the swiss way to approach the problem.
An historic piece in my opinion really worth collecting, even I don't particularly like the bracelet.
Remember that at the same time the mechanical counterpart had riveted wheels and unserviceable parts. Nonetheless I whish I could have both.
