GP or PF??
With apologies for asking about the relative merits of two watches—which I understand will vary from person to person—I am currently torn between a classic blue-dialed GP Laureato and the Parmigiani PF Tonda Micro-Rotor. To me, the GP is a bit more casual (a plus for me) and easy to wear anywhere. The PF, however, is silky smooth on the wrist and, I think, can still be worn with jeans and a t-shirt. Curious to hear thoughts from folks here, if anyone has a view as to this choice. Many thanks in advance!
Also, I attach a picture of the GP. I don’t have one of the PF, but there are plenty of great shots on this forum.

I like the GP very much.
Was considering one recently. Have you seen the one with the black onyx dial? Pretty cool.
IMHO the GP is more versatile looks good anywhere, The PF is more dressy and individual
between the two I personally pick the laureato

I would go for the GP. Let your heart decide, take the one that makes your heart beat faster 😉
I am going to disagree with most people here
I am not a fan of the Laureato. It looks derivative and is only popular (in my controversial opinion) because people can't get a Royal Oak. The PF is a fantastic watch, with a much better design, better movement and from a better brand.
Controversial is one thing and being presumptuous is another thing altogether

I prefer the GP design. However, you should consider the Alpine Eagle as well.

GP pros: -Likely a longer-lasting design than the PF -Beautiful blue dial yet that is subtle -Cost less than PF, and can easily find preowned for further savings if willing to buy used -Multiple sizes (38 and 42mm) -More versatile than PF -Not a look-at-m...
