Girard Perregaux Minute Repeater Multi Axis Tourbillon Open Dial.

The GP RM Multi Axis Tourbillon Open Dial is a watch I discovered at the 2018 SIHH, which impressed me a lot. In a good and not so good way. The good way? The combination of a minute repeater and a multi axis tourbillon is not something you will see every...

I’m a bit indifferent to tourbillons

But I would prefer this dial over the skeletonized Reverso you posted yesterday as it has 2 transparent (albeit small) dials. The darker crown is like a certain supermodel’s mole don’t you think

Nico your way of explaining

It is a beauty, that is the good thing. The less good or not so good parts you told us in understandable talk. Big big watch, it is hard to wear. All this would not be so much of a problem if the case and glass is scratch and bump proof. Reading the time ...

Why i like the portuguese

It is clean. If i find a good pre owned Portuguese Perpetual Calendar with a full year window, and box and papers are complete, than i get it. So this IWC’s are on my list to catch: A Portuguese/Portefino. A Portuguese Perpetual Calendar. A Pallweber 150....

Size and thickness, indeed.

I can only imagine how inspiring it would be on the wrist.

Very impressive watch indeed!

The dark crown is due to sandblasting titanium which makes it very dark after sometime. They should have polished it instead in order to have an even color matching the case. One negative point is also the difficulty reading the time. You can barely see t...

I'm not a big fan of tourbillons,

but the dial looks fantastic and the overall appearance of the watch is very impressive, at least in the picture. The huge case frightens me not so much because there is really a lot to see. An eye magnet... Thank God the dark crown bothers me so immensel...

Good one, Thomas.
