Girard Perregaux Minute Repeater Multi Axis Tourbillon Open Dial.

The GP RM Multi Axis Tourbillon Open Dial is a watch I discovered at the 2018 SIHH, which impressed me a lot. In a good and not so good way.
The good way? The combination of a minute repeater and a multi axis tourbillon is not something you will see every day. It is fascinating in a double way, for the ears and the eyes.
And it is pretty nice looking!
The other good point? The use of titanium, which makes it not too heavy to wear...
The negative points? I only see two:
It is a big ( 48 mm ) and very thick watch ( 21, 24 mm high! ) Which makes it too difficult to wear for most of us. Ok, we can always think that a multi axis tourbillon doesn't help to restrain the height, but this is not so true: See what Jaeger Lecoultre does, with their Gyrotourbillon and minute repeater... They are at least 6 mm less high!
Then the price. We are not far from half a million euros, from memory...
Aaaah, and as we are a tad picky, here, I would prefer a less dark crown.
Best,
Nicolas
