Girard Perregaux Ref. 8004 F and Gyromatic 39 jewels square
Hi everyone,
Here is one of the Damier from GP that I own, as per GP, the caliber inside it is a GP 26-38 dating from 1964-1965, I cant find any informaiton on it, even on Ranfft Watches web site. Does any of you know more about this caliber? The only infromaiton I got is for the Girard-Perregaux 26.3 based on the AS 1758...

This one is slightly different, based on the Gyromatic caliber with 39 jewels, could be a GP 32.19 ..."... two roller freewheels are used to convert the rotor movements. While usually steel rollers are used, this top model has ruby

Different to the more well-known Damier reference 7427, the Daimer 7838 have a seconds hand and a date... That's the difference you can see on the dial. The biggest difference, the 7838 have an automatic movement and a higher case. But that is hard to tel...
