I find it frustrating at times as there seems to be quite a shallow and prescribed approach to “collecting” amongst many today. Very little discussion about the history and subtleties etc about each model. Primarily it rotates around the latest dial color...

It’s a grey dial 8010 being sold by a dealer from Japan at a attractive price. If you search for “Laureato 8010” it will not show. You will have to search for “Girard Perregaux 8010”. I’m sure they are wondering why it hasn’t sold yet 🤣 🤝 ...

They are the originals and the rare one. Same concept (and the wrist feel is quite similar) to the VC 222. The originals are the Uber rare ones. 🫶🏼
