I headed to Santa Cruz to get a sandwich at the Seabright Deli, then strolled the beach since the weather was so nice. If I was planning on a real beach day, I’d have likely worn my Tudor FXD.

The galleria has changed. Maggianos is gone, moving/moved to the main mall. L&B divesting brands to go Boutique only for Rolex & Patek. Many brand-only boutiques now. I'm semi-retired, but if you ever get down here PM me and we'll do a coffee and walkabou... 

Not sure if it is the perfect beach watch but if you are happy to wear it there then why not, I really like the case shape and dial of this beautiful Girard Perregaux as it has a strong vintage look and vibe with all the benefits of a modern watch. Marc
