Finally my first FP Journe, the Elegante 48 Titalyt
Coincidentally I started off 2019 with an Indie watch. I am very happy to add my first watch of 2020 which is a piece which I have liked since 2016 but wasn’t ready back then. My collecting philosophy and taste in watches have since evolved.
Saw that FPJ released the Titalyt version of the Elegante in 2019 and the sleek look got me seriously thinking again. Finally decided to place an order for one a few months ago. And I was lucky that the watch arrived just in time for the Lunar New Year.

it is the small rotor that is connected to the motion sensor...

I love that tiny little exposed rotor.
It clearly makes visual reference to the exposed remontoir blade from the Tourbillon (and Optimum), and is a perfect way to demonstrate that this quartz watch is still a real part of the Journe family.
