That 97 was drinking beautifully a couple years ago. And California wines are sometimes very fruity and this one I felt was very nicely aged. But perhaps it would've been even better in another few years like yours. I unfortunately don't have any more 1997s left. Hopefully you have some 1996s left to try in a few years!
