We loved Alinea but was wondering of anyone has any other restaurants we should visit Not fussed with any style/ cuisine etc Thanks Julian

I've not been but have been told by reliable sources it is easily the best steakhouse in Chicago, which is saying something. Reservations required. M4

That I would try if your in Chicago. Giordanos for there famous deep dish pizza but go early the wait during peak times can get over 2 hours. Right across the street is a great/nice sports bar call Jake Melnicks that I would try as well. If you want fancy... 

First, agree with Bavette's as the best steakhouse in Chicago. But, if you can't get in--which is hard--go to Maude's Liquor Bar. Same owners and similar food. Plus you can get in! Also agree with Purple Pig. As for others (in no particular order): Au Che... 

I enjoyed AVEC, Blackbird, and Purple Pig.
