Having said that,I love its purity,I really do:the officer case back,the decoration,the simplicity of the movement architecture......the finish.... Still....its so close to JD Grande seconde design.....which was close to Journe according to FP himself etc...

an old feud.... A classic layout indeed,the Jaquet Droz took an old pocket watch for sure,the fact is that probably the Grande Seconde was the most recognisable incarnation of this kind of layouts. The fact that there was a long debate between the 2 brand...

Speaking for myself, I feel entirely comfortable not to be a candidate for one of these limited 99s. The last FP Journe that interested me enough to actually order one (without any conditions from the Geneva boutique) was the Ultimum. That and the Perpetu... 

Look towards the back, it's a miniaturization of his dual-barrel tourbillon, like nothing else in the linup at the moment. A

... fact that the movement in this historical Tourbillon is in brass and not gold and the case proportions (40x10) and lugs are classic Journe. Wonderful idea to miniaturize the tourbillon pocket watch. And given the influence of A.L.Breguet, I love the b...
