even down to the price. Those large blue screws are to die for. Any technical details yet? What a wonderful (but a bit unimaginative) movement which I expect will well resonate with the admirers of Mr Journe's early offerings. Thanks for posting, Magnus

Veeery elegant...

and very classy. This LE is really something that deserves to be limited in production. I love the asthetics of the dial, the case, the back ... Great job. Thanks for the release info Anthony. Cheers, Mark

Veery nice ..even if I cant stopp thinking...Jaquet Droz....

Having said that,I love its purity,I really do:the officer case back, the decoration, the simplicity of the movement architecture......the finish.... Still....its so close to JD Grande seconde design.....which was close to Journe according to FP himself etc...

It would also be nice to know more.....

Was thinking the same lol. Such a dramatic loss of DNA. Maybe the anniversary is a midlife crisis LOL.

It looks to me like ...

... the anniversary tourbillon is clearly based on Journe's 30 year old pocket watch. That pocket watch itself draws heavily from 18th century pocket watch designs, not the least of which being those we associate with A.L.Breguet. The reborn Jaquet Droz w...

an old feud.... A classic layout indeed, the Jaquet Droz took an old pocket watch for sure, the fact is that probably the Grande Seconde was the most recognisable incarnation of this kind of layouts. The fact that there was a long debate between the 2 brand...

I adore this piece! -I like case with sculpted parts especially in detail; like the Patek Celestial or Clou de Paris. This two tone version with these details speaks very much to me. -Then the caliber, a magnificent piece of horology and an hommage to Bre...

Where to draw the line?

Speaking for myself, I feel entirely comfortable not to be a candidate for one of these limited 99s. The last FP Journe that interested me enough to actually order one (without any conditions from the Geneva boutique) was the Ultimum. That and the Perpetu...

WAY more than a dial variant

Look towards the back, it's a miniaturization of his dual-barrel tourbillon, like nothing else in the linup at the moment. A

beautiful tribute to Journes history

admire it very much although the two-tone case is not 100% to my liking. Best Andreas
