Vagabondage

Following Christian’s Vagabondage post yesterday, here’s number two of the trilogy.

My biases in terms of the Vagabondage series are all right here; VII > VI / VIII and Gold > Platinum.

The only caveat to that being that the VII in Platinum with the diamond set bezel and lugs is probably my favorite diamond set watch ever.

Haha, just a stroll for the morning caffeine.

But a good excuse to strap something nice on the wrist.

And it’s not even Christmas yet!

I lean toward your V series biases as well. With regards to PM choice, is it model specific and how the case shape and dial work with the PM color?

I think so.

I think the smoked crystal is a warmer visual, and that just goes better with the warmer rose gold. I find the contrast with the PT case too much.

Your watch is amazing and stunning both. Looks

really great on you. I was late to the Vagabondage series but am fortunate to have a platinum V3. My preference order is V3 followed by V1 and then V2. All are wonderful! Enjoy and thanks for sharing!

All are wonderful and interesting.

Generally what I like about them is that they stand apart for the rest of the Journe lineup. They are truly something different. I’m not a gold guy usually, but the VII (and the Vagabondage in general) to me is just a much warmer feel in gold. That’s not ...

Nice fall colours.

I love it!

Although, I may personally go for the hockey puck Zeitwerk!!

I do love the ZW, the original. It’s such a strong and simple design (dial).

I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. But it’s a monster on the wrist. Smaller than my Dato was but the shape of the case makes it wear much thicker. I’ve lost count how many times I thought about trying to buy one, how many times I’ve tried it ...

You do have “petite” wrists, with all due respect 😃

I remember trying this one on in Italy. ...

Absolutely beautiful

I'm a bit drawn to the "digital" dials. Here are my beloved Gérald Genta jumping hours and retrograde minutes. I snuck my sneakers into the picture 😊 Btw I would like to some day own the ALS Zeitwerk ...

Loved these Genta retrogrades/jump hour. Sorry I didn’t pick one up many years ago.

The ZW would be an amazing addition. Another one I’ve loved for a long time, however it wears too big for my wrist and so I finally gave up those thoughts a few years ago.

I have found one for sale in the US 😊
