I would love to add the three Vagabondage to watchbox! apparantly they dont appeal to some very seasoned Journe collectors. However, I absolutely adore them.

Are you out bowling? smile

Francois-Paul Friday roll call today....

 By: ChristianDK : October 2nd, 2020-04:04
I don’t have much free time these days to play with watches. (Or any free time for that matter!) This one seems to become my “put on and go” favorite. The super lightness is very addictive. I was trying one of my Rolex this morning and they feel very heav...

It took me a few tries and then “I get it!”

It’s far from his greatest watch but it holds its place in a very cool way.

Like it isn’t there.

It funny how most of us initially would want a feeling of weight on the wrist, it’s that “I’ve finally got a real watch” feeling that someone is validated by the weight. And then when one maybe gets their first platinum watch, again that reassuring weight...

That is so well described, Jay!

I have definitely moved to thinner and smaller as my taste in watches developed. I have a big wrist but now I’m contemplating 36 mm Rolex. A great watch should just be part of or blend in with ones appearance. Then, when you look at closely it should be s...

I remember the first time I saw the barley corn engraving on the CB I was completely mesmerized as I had the CS and this one was much more beautiful. Actually, your picture brings back my first encounter with the CB. I was so surprised and knew immediatel...

I’ve always loved the big polished frame of Centigraphe it’s such a strong element in the dial. Have a great weekend and enjoy your wonderful time piece 😊

One of his best dials!

 By: ChristianDK : October 2nd, 2020-09:18
I have a really big fascination with the way the “negative space” is framed in this one. It’s such an original way of building a dial. And the composition is just so elegant. Putting a lot of focus toward the chronograph part. Thank you for sharing this r...

It's hard to explain but I cannot wear anything else from my collection

Of course, I don't have another FPJ or anything in a similar league but I tried a Panerai on last weekend and took it off in a matter of hours... LOL! I love the watch, its style, its lightness and its accuracy
