to me, the Pr is an important design element on the dial. I Always see Jounrne dials as compostions. there is something very 2-dimensional and composed about them. Like a beautiful work of graphic or an abstract painting. You have the elements, the shapes and the space between the elements. I just think the PR makes the dial work and It is somehow missing on the CB. You probably already know, but Mr journe always starts of by designing the dial. Then he designs the movement from the dial. He learned this from George Daniels. The CS is the original design and the Cal 1304 is based on that dial. I feel the seconds dial on the CB are floating a bit lonely in the assymetric position but make more sense on the CS.
38 mm thats doable in the secondary market. Im sure they would even make you one, if you asked.

The Chronometre Souverain - an old friend

no other single watch has spent as many hours on my wrist as this one. It is simply that good. We are well in to our nineth year together. Perfect in its own right. Here it is on a navy blue fpj strap, stealing a moments attention at work in the office. ...
It is such a handsome watch.

Like so many others from so many brands, and yet uniquely Journe and so recognizable. Once you "get" this brand most others pale in comparison. Took me a long, long time.
You should try it out, my friend :-)

I can only agree! Once you GET Journe, it gets under your skin. Nothing quite like it. It gets under your skin. Glad you are here
Yes. Its my truste piece.

Uncomplicated to wear and my goto when I sometimes need to go to "war"!
I really recommend it.

It is a great way to get started on Journe. You can pick oune up at a decent price. There are lots of different variations of the dial ect.
A beautiful FPJ

Certainly one that is easily wearable in pretty much any setting. Nice to read of these long hours and years on the wrist through many journeys. Very special.
thank you so much for you nice post :-)

It gets less attention these days, than it really deserves. Mainly bc it was launched in 2005 so it isnt news any more and because the CB has become a darling the last few years. Still, I will rate this above the CB, even if I love that watch also. It is ...

Good to see your beautiful watch here, dearest Mahesh! Nice Lange, but seriously my eyes drift to the CS ;-)
Oh that I understand ;-)
By: mahesh : May 29th, 2019-13:01
the Lange is a perfect one too - enamel dial, micro rotor & aptly sized (for my wrist) - but it is our fellow collectors’ watch, not mine. CS is an absolutely incredible watch, very different in feel & personality w.r.t C’Bleu
+1

Christian thanks for posting a photo showing the blue strap....
By: Greenwillow : May 30th, 2019-23:42
Though, to be honest, unless it was for the blue stitching, it would be difficult to say whether it was blue or black. But you did warn me, that the blue was very dark Please let me add my configuration. I love this watch and this strap combination Also l...

So happy to see it on your wrist. The Rg case gives the watch such a different appearance compared with the pt case. More warm and classic. You have a real keeper!
Personally I would consider the CS
By: CL : May 31st, 2019-11:00
as a very classic and highly desirable 'independent' time only piece. It has a very handsome dial and a very talented watchmaker behind it. When I spot someone wearing this piece, I know the person really consider or understand what he wants in a timepiec...
