Generally speaking, I also much prefer the classic F.P. Journe pieces on straps versus bracelet models. However, the moment I saw this watch in person and put it on my wrist, it was instantly “all smiles” — and ever since, I hoped to eventually find one.
As I continue diving deeper into the brand and studying the various models and calibres, I’m genuinely excited to add a watch to the collection that represents an important moment in Journe history: the very first LineSport bracelet model introduced by F.P. Journe in 2011 and produced only for a rather short period thereafter, until 2014.
That alone makes it a rather special and historically significant piece in the company’s evolution. So in addition to enjoying the watch from the aesthetic and practical/wearability point of you, I'm also glad that it checks off an important historical check box as far as the company history goes.
