In your opinion could it be the THE WATCH in your collection that satisfies 'dress watch' duties? If the case is platinum, have you found that it would be helpful to have the Journe platinum deployant clasp/buckle to better balance the weight of the plati... 

it can play a dress up or dress down game...i've tried few straps on it & it works well. you can see some posts from ChristianDK with some strap variations too. you feel the heft of Pt of course but it doesn't rotate / topple off the wrist...it sits well ... 

appreciate your response. Also, I checked out Christian's many foto posts and learned how the CS can take on many personalities depending on straps/accessories and clothing and surroundings. In your opinion, with the CS - would you pursue a 38mm or 40mm? ... 

i've a 16,5 cm wrist & 40 suits me well...the difference between 38 vs 40 in CS is the bezel. either way you wouldn't go wrong. 38mm hardly come by now-a-days...so it would be an interesting pursuit ! Best, mahesh.,

The others would be my Resonance and my vintage JLC Geophysic. To give you my impression in your questions you put to Mahesh: I have owned the CS for more than a decade now. I can tell you that no other watch has spent so many hours on my wrist. Sometimes... 

I bought one as an extra with my CT and while nice, I find I usually just use the tang.

I think the watches are so well balanced, there is no need. Thanks for chiming in with your experience 👍

Christian, can you put into words why you feel that similar Patek offerings don't feel as versatile (or as "go to") as the Journe CS? Best, Robert
