Resonance no doubt...

simply because amongst your choices, it is the purest and bar none an ORIGINAL through and through by the master himself. The Octa Calendrier is another Journe original, but shares the space with the other Octa pieces like Chrono, RDM, Lune etc and IMHO just a tad lower on the Journe hiearchy than the Resonance.

The Lange Timezone, while exhibiting typical Lange precision and excellent finishing is but a variation of the icon for Lange which could arguably be the Lange 1. The PP 5960 houses two firsts by Patek, the annual calendar complication pioneered by them back in 1996 and it also has its first in-house chronograph movement. BUT putting them together IMHO dilutes the uniqueness of the complications and as such, dampens my enthusiasm for it, notwithstanding the nice gray dial and PT case.

Having said all that, the Resonance is the only one that can stand on its own merits, toe to toe with what the other guys can throw at it, hence is my choice amongst the ones you are choosing from. smile

So seems like you are leaning toward a Journe as it is. I don't own a Lange or a Patek, but I did look at both brands quite seriously before purchasing my first FP Journe(and second/third). I think Lange makes awesome watches, but I just didn't like the w...

interesting selection: in my view and I own examples of each brand (PP, FP, and Lange), I would break it down by a few select criteria which you can prioritize based on your own view: 1. Resale value - clearly patek 5960 is the best in terms of value rete...

Resonance not the same complication as Duality

The Resonance has two escapements and they actually belong to two individual movements side by side, sharing the same main barrel. The purpose of the two movements is to have each escapement close by therefore allowing them to vibrate in harmony via the p...

for MY money buys the Resonance, as said by all, a unique contribution to horology. A stroke (more like a habit) of genius.

Thanks for the advise guys
