Personalizing Watches
I want to know what others think about this practice. For example, Journe insists on putting the owner's name on the case and movement of his Sonnerie in order to limit its appeal to others at auction. While this seems like a cool idea at first blush, what about the owner who wants to sell his watch say 10 years later and finds that not too many others are thrilled about the personalization. After all, this is not the certificate of origin we are tallking abount but the watch itself. I have mixed feelings about the idea and I am curious about what you guys think.
