Paris would not be a great place to go bike riding.

In San Francisco, there are a lot of hills. Bike riders have to take specific routes that are flatter with large bike lanes in order to be safe. But these routes are so congested with bikers that there is a long queue of bikers. I'm just worried one day someone in the front falls and creates a chain reaction and every bike behind crashes and falls over as well. Urban planning is definitely a difficult thing to do! You have to create a design that caters to cars, buses, taxis (taxis and buses get special lanes and special roads in San Francisco; downtown Market Street, the main street of San Francisco is only open to buses and taxis in the downtown area), trollys/streetcars, and cyclists!
