Not really my favorite, but utterly interesting...
It's definitely very unique and very interesting... However, I personally still have a strong preference for "normal" F.P. Journe pieces in the traditional platinum and rose gold. When the Chronometre Bleu came out, I thought it was a bit too bleu, the dial was a bit too shiny for my tastes. Despite this, I still find the Chronometre Bleu to visually be a part of the F.P. Journe family. With this Rosso Corsa F.P. Journe, I am not certain I would recognize it as an F.P. Journe if I wasn't previously told about the existence of this watch.
The winner of this interesting lot certainly got an interesting watch. And I'm sure this watch will look great when he is driving his red sports car.

The watch must have been special ordered, not widely known or made available. Seems odd that someone would order the watch and put it up at auction so quickly. I can understand why Journe wouldn't be happy. I wish I would have known It's pretty cool!!!!
Very interesting dial....

beautiful but..... I wonder if you could get tired of it..... I prefer the regular dial..... regarding the reason that was placed in auction.... maybe the owner got tired of it, had a bad experience (superstition).... or simply tried to flip it.... thanks...
